Graduate student
I am a graduate student in the Dyhrman Microbial Oceanography group. I received a M.S. in Ecology from the University of Michigan in 2020 where I first became interested in studying biogeochemical processes. In the Dyhrman lab, I am interested in studying how oceanic microbes will respond to a changing climate through genomic techniques, using this information to elucidate their relationships to environmental conditions and to each other. I am also interested in outreach, and learning how environmental justice principles can be incorporated into all levels and fields of environmental research.
