Postdoctoral Fellow
I'm a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow in Marine Microbiology. I got my PhD in Microbiology from MIT where I used time series metagenomics to investigate the daily dynamics of coastal giant viruses in the labs of Martin Polz & Otto Cordero. In the Dyhrman lab, I am studying the impact of phytoplankton physiology on susceptibility to virus infection using combined metatranscriptomic and culture-based approaches. When I'm not at Lamont, you can find me knitting, sewing, or biking along Riverside Park!
